As we re-open and move forward from COVID-19 our tour schedule will continue to grow and change. Commencing September 26th The Gardens Explorer tour is scheduled for morning departures, every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday from the Binalong Bay Gulch (Main Rd, Binalong Bay). Additional tours will be added on a demand basis and if you do have a larger group (min 8 pax) and you don’t see a tour on your chosen day, please feel free to contact us as we may be able to schedule a tour to accommodate you.

Covering the southern half of the Bay of Fires and offering a great opportunity to learn about this stunning area, The Gardens Explorer is our most popular tour year round and offers passengers the best chance of conducting a tour as it is less weather dependent and requires fewer passengers to make the tour viable.

Heading out from Binalong Bay, the history and natural beauty will be highlighted as we traverse our way north along the Bay of Fires Conservation Area. Our return journey is an offshore experience giving you a panoramic view of the coastline, just as the early explorers would have encountered when they first set eyes on our white sandy shores. Different times of year bring a diverse range of sea and bird life for passengers to enjoy.

Whilst the 2 square metre physical distancing rule is not possible on board the vessel, we must take a common sense approach to physical distancing. Our vessel will run at around 2/3 capacity to allow for extra space. Passengers will be assigned seats to help minimise contact with others, members of the same booking will be permitted to sit together and each booking will be assigned their own row of seats, you will not share a row with another travelling party. Whilst on tour we ask that all passengers remain in their designated seats or section of the vessel and maintain social distancing to the best of their ability within the vessel space. Hand sanitisers are also available on board the vessel.

Whilst this coming summer will offer a more limited option for tours, our Bay of Fires Discover and Sloop Rock Express tours will resume operation for the 2021/2022 season.
