As we re-open and move forward from COVID-19 our tour schedule will continue to grow and change. Commencing July 7th The Gardens Explorer tour is scheduled for morning departures, every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday from the Binalong Bay Gulch (Main Rd, Binalong Bay). Additional tours will be added on a demand basis and if you do have a larger group (min 8 pax) and you don’t see a tour on your chosen day, please feel free to contact us as we may be able to schedule a tour to accommodate you.
Covering the southern half of the Bay of Fires and offering a great opportunity to learn about this stunning area, The Gardens Explorer is our most popular tour year round and offers passengers the best chance of conducting a tour as it is less weather dependent and requires fewer passengers to make the tour viable.
Heading out from Binalong Bay, the history and natural beauty will be highlighted as we traverse our way north along the Bay of Fires Conservation Area. Our return journey is an offshore experience giving you a panoramic view of the coastline, just as the early explorers would have encountered when they first set eyes on our white sandy shores. Different times of year bring a diverse range of sea and bird life for passengers to enjoy.
Tours will not run during August, this is always our coldest and quietest month and so we have decided to close over this period. Tour bookings for July and September we will be taken via phone and email only, we won’t have our online bookings operational. This is to ensure we can offer common sense social distancing for the tours and can seat groups accordingly. Our vessel will be running at 2/3 capacity to better allow for this.
From October onward tours will be available for online bookings, all being well the online booking platform will be back up and running by the end of August to allow guest to book in. Whilst this coming summer will offer a more limited option for tours, our Bay of Fires Discover and Sloop Rock Express tours will resume operation for the 2021/2022 season.
