Set on the picturesque Port Esperance Bay, Driftwood Cottages provide a diverse range of beautifully appointed self-contained accommodation, all designed to make the most of the stunning waterways of Tasmania’s Huon Valley and Far South.

Choose from cosy waterfront studios, or 2 and 3 bedroom cottages with spa and Jacuzzi options.  Our cottages all boast spectacular views over the bay and mountains and are within a short walk of town facilities, wharf and beautiful beaches.

Complimentary NBN WIFI is available throughout and all feature fully equipped kitchens including  Nespresso coffee machines.  Every cottage has its own deck with stunning views over Port Esperance Bay.   For something extra special, The “Beach House” offers a real touch of romance, with unsurpassable water views, cosy wood fire and private jacuzzi hot tub sunk into the deck overlooking the bay.  All fully self-contained, Driftwood Cottages are maintained to the highest standards and our team go the extra mile to make sure that your stay is memorable.  In the Post COVID environment we have taken even further steps to ensure the safety of our guests, with our COVID safe plan in place and our remote check-in processes streamlined!

Dover is just over an hour’s drive south of Hobart.  Enjoy the scenic drive down through the rolling hills of the Huon Valley to the the forests and waterways of Tasmania’s beautiful Far South region.

Driftwood is centrally located, providing the perfect base to explore the attractions of the Huon Valley and Far South, including the unmissable trek to the end of the road where you can explore Australia’s Southern most accessible point.
