Foraging Throughout Tasmania is a cookbook of simple, delicious and wholesome recipes that I have created over the past few years, and particularly since moving to Tasmania. It is a collection of 40 recipes including 20 savoury and 20 sweet recipes, and focuses on nourishing and nutritious meals, along with some more indulgent treats (because we all need balance in our lives).
Many of the recipes have been developed throughout my time living in and (foraging throughout) various towns and cities in Tasmania, from Launceston, to Burnie, to Hobart.
The recipes are easy to create (you won’t actually have to forage in the wilderness for any of the ingredients in the book!) and many of them can be prepared ahead of time, which I hope will be useful to anyone who finds it difficult to prepare healthy meals in their busy lives, and who doesn’t want to spend hours slaving away in the kitchen. I also incorporate a glimpse into life in Tasmania, with a range of photos of Tasmania’s beautiful nature scattered throughout the book.
