Frank’s Cider House and Cafe is located in the historic town of Franklin, just 40 minutes south of Hobart. It is the cellar door of Frank’s multi award winning ciders. These are blended from 100% Tasmanian fruit, including apples, pears, cherries and raspberries. The range is medium sweet, crisp and sparkling. The menu at Frank’s features fresh Huon Valley produce, and includes dishes such as Beef and Cider Pie, Salmon Quiche, and Frank’s Burgers with beef from the Clark family farm. There is also a range of sweet treats including Spiced Apple Crumble and Pear Cider Scones with cream and jam. Frank’s Cider House and Cafe was formerly a church hall, which has now been converted into a cosy space with both dining tables, and informal couches. There is also a museum room explaining the history of the Apple Isle.
