The Freycinet Experience Walk is the original Tasmanian four-day guided walking experience. Based on the Freycinet Peninsula and a passion project of eco-tourism pioneer, Joan Masterman.
Born over twenty-eight years ago, the aim of the project was, and still remains ‘to share Friendly Beaches‘ beauty with others, and help to ensure it remains as is for generations to come’.
This Spring, we invite Tasmanians to embark on a multi-day Freycinet Peninsula experience founded on passion and created with care. Take a long weekend with friends and family and do the Peninsula ‘our way’.
Explore Schouten Island by boat and foot, summit Mt Graham with only a day pack, explore the lesser-known trails of the Eastern Peninsula Coastline. Unplug, step away from the ordinary and come home to the Friendly Beaches Eco-Lodge.
Surrounded by 130 hectares of bush land, the award-winning Friendly Beaches Eco-Lodge is nestled into a private oasis 100 meters from the pristine Friendly Beaches Coastline. Available for:
Our off-grid eco-lodge was designed to respect the land it occupies and give you the space to reconnect; with each other (by the fire…over a glass of wine…) and, with some of your favourite Tasmanian coastlines (beach access… rolling waves… birds awakening… rain on rooftops).
Take a moment for yourself this Spring and let us organise the itinerary.
