Garlic Feast, delicious garlic inspired recipes for the quintessential garlic lover  

Garlic Feast sprang from the grass roots of Tasmania’s now iconic Koonya Garlic Festival. Janice Sutton is one of the founding organisers of the festival and is the volunteer media and programme coordinator for the festival. 

Garlic Feast won Australia Cookbook of the Year, December 2016 at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards; it also won Best Self Published Cookbook in the World (2017), Best Cookbook Printing (2017) and was a finalist for Best Cookbook of the Year in the World (2017) in the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards. In 2020 Garlic Feast was chosen as on of ‘The Best of the Best” Cookbooks in the World for the past 25 years the Gourmands have been running.  Garlic Feast also won a bronze medal in the Independent Publishing Awards in New York 2017 in the General Cookbook Category.

Tomato: know, sow, grow, feast

Tomato was a collaboration with Penny Woodward and Karen Sutherland. It was sponsored by the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens in Hobart. The book is a gardening and cookbook in one! 300+ pages of ‘tomatoey goodness’. Now classed as the Tomato Bible. The book won a Gold Medal in the Independent Publisher Awards in New York in 2019, and in 2020 a Laurel in the Australian Horticultural Media Industry Awards.
