These include the Park Explorer Tour, a  fully guided interpretive tour to discover the unique flora, fauna and geographical features of the World Heritage listed Cradle Mountain National Park. Enjoy a 2-hour guided tour amongst the wilderness and experience the awesome views across Dove Lake to the jagged dolerite peaks of Cradle Mt, wander through the ancient King Billy Pine Forest at Waldheim Chalet and enjoy a short rainforest walk to Pencil Falls. Enjoy the very popular Night Spotting Tour as this is ideal chance to see Tasmania’s nocturnal creatures in their natural habitat. Wildlife is abundant and easy to get close to with professional guides to show you where to look. A custom-made 4WD coach will take you inside the Cradle My National Park to the many accessible boardwalks  where wombats, pademelons, wallabies, possums, quolls and Tasmanian devils forage at night. There are many short, half day and full day Cradle Mountain walks and McDermotts professional hiking guides can take you      through the incredibly varied environments and terrains of the alpine high country around Cradle Mountain. Longer walks include Dove Lake Circuit 2-3 hours, Crater Circuit including Marion’s Lookout 6 hour return with Cradle Mt Summit an 8 hour walk.
