Peter Lane traded in antiques in London from 1974 to 1976. PETER LANE GALLERY opened in Adelaide in June 1976 then moved to Sydney in 1981 and to Hobart in 2007. Over forty years Peter Lane has bought and sold antiques, antiquities and fine art to collectors, dealers and museums in Australia and overseas. His concept for a home is to ensure the spaces are laid out in a practical manner and consist of comfortable furniture and delightful objects. The furniture should be usable and the objects should go towards satisfying an inquiring mind. Objects sourced, sales negotiated, collections appraised and items valued.   The Gallery guarantees all items to be genuine, as described. All payments in Australian dollars. Items are forwarded freight-free within Australia up to a limit of 10 kilograms weight. Delivery of other items by arrangement.

A permanent display cabinet of items can be viewed at Ring Road Antique Centre, 100 Ring Road, New Norfolk
