A modern 2 bedroom house, located on a private road, with sweeping views of Pirates Bay surf beach all the way out to Hippolyte Rock. Our property is situated above the Lufra Hotel, Restaurant and Bar, and is a mere 5 minute walk to both Pirates Bay Beach and Tessellated Pavement. The popular tourist attractions of The Blowhole, Tasman Arch and Devils Kitchen are an 8 minute drive away. The Port Arthur Historic Site is a 20 minute drive south.
Our property is situated on a private road that is shared with 3 other houses. The house is located on a hill overlooking Pirates Bay. During the months when whales are migrating they are often seen having a rest, feed and play in Pirates Bay. Species include Humpback and Southern Right whales and even Orcas. Due to the amazing views of the bay from the house whales can be spotted from the master bedroom and lounge room windows and from the deck! Whales migrate between May and July and September and November. Pirates Bay is a popular surf beach with several different breaks. These can also be seen from the house. The property has 2 good sized bedrooms, both with views of the beach and ocean. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and wall mounted smart TV. The second bedroom has a triple bunk bed ( double bed on bottom, single on top) and smart TV. There is a spacious lounge room with a wall mounted smart TV and beautifully appointed kitchen which is stocked with a selection of cereals, bread and condiments. The house has plenty of off street parking with more then enough room for a boat and trailer. Just drive down the driveway and park behind the house.
Eaglehawk Neck is located an approximately 90 minute drive, south east, of Hobart. It is an extremely beautiful part of the world with amazing beaches, scenery and land formations. A quiet suburb which becomes more popular in summer it is a perfect base to stay whilst exploring the Tasman Peninsula. Tessellated Pavement, Devils Kitchen, The Blowhole and Tasman Arch are all located in Eaglehawk Neck. From September- April there is a Fish and Chip Van located in the Blowhole car park. These are the best fish and chips we have ever eaten and they also make their own fruit ice creams and venison and rabbit pies. There are a number of world class bush walks that start and finish at Eaglehawk Neck, some 1 hour return, others are overnight. The World Heritage Port Arthur Historic Site is a 20 minute drive further south on the Peninsula and is open year round. The historic Site is also the start and finishing point of the Three Capes bush walk. There are so many beautiful places to explore in our area and we hope you enjoy your stay.
