Marvel at the beauty of one of the oldest cellar doors in Australia and go back in time, when visiting the heritage listed property, dating back to 1823. ROSLYN 1823 is a permaculture vineyard in Campania (near Richmond) producing outstanding wines. Andrew Palmer studied permaculture and has a permaculture teaching degree. He has planned and set the vineyard up on the design principles and ethics of permaculture. Now we apply these principles to the running of our environmentally sustainable vineyard with BEYOND ORGANIC as our motto. The obvious signs of biodiversity in our natural vineyard are in stark contrast to conventional vineyards. ROSLYN 1823 is the only permaculture vineyard in Tasmania. Once we are back to “normal” we will start our “Permaculture Tours” and “Storytelling” events again, as we have done in the past.
