New direct flights from Hobart to Bass Strait Islands

Now you can fly direct from Hobart to King Island and Flinders Island.

An island break is now as close as Hobart Airport. From 30 September you can fly direct from Hobart to King Island’s golf, cheese and surfing or to the food, walking and wild nature of Flinders Island.

Sharp Airlines will be operating three services per week to each island on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday on its 18 seat Metroliner aircraft. There will be early arrival times on Wednesdays and Fridays and a later departure from King Island on Sundays.

  • Flights from Hobart to King Island start at $460 return
  • Flights from Hobart to Flinders Island start at $478 return
